Tis the Season...

to be busy! I can't get a handle on my life right now let alone my blog...as you can see! Heather told me yesterday that I needed desperately to update the blog or intervention was going to take place. Most years I feel like my shopping is under control and all the gifts are wrapped before the first week of December. This year on the other hand is crazy. I am finally done with everyone but Eric. He has been thinking for weeks now what he might want, so it better be something good.

Lucy is loving the whole Christmas thing! We DVR'd "The Polar Express" last week and she will not let a day go by without asking..."Cho Choo Show?" It will be so fun watching her on Christmas morning. Children make Christmas so magical!

29 and Counting!

Today is Eric's 29th Birthday! Lucy and I are busy today trying to make his cake and clean house for the celebration tonight. A couple of weekends ago we went and stayed with my brother Reggie. They have a recliner chair...Eric loved it. He acted like he had never sat in one before. So guess what....we got Daddy an ugly recliner chair. I can't believe I would even think about having it in my living room, but anything for my hubby. They have really cute ones but those weren't in my budget! Well we love Eric so much, he is the funnest Daddy and husband a couple of girls could ever ask for. (Obviously this picture was last year!)

Girly Girl!

One question...how do girls know how to be girls? Lucy loves her necklaces and hat. You should see us walk into church! You can't take a girls beads away!

Jack Spencer Pendleton

Jason and Kristin just had their third baby. We went up to see him last weekend. Lucy loves babies, but it scares me to death when she tries to touch them or pick them up. Jack is so cute...I can't wait to see him at Thanksgiving because they change so fast.

Dream Dinners!

This last Wednesday my mom and I went to a Sneak Peak at "Dream Dinners." It was so fun and the food was yummy. This is the best idea...all you do is throw the ingredients into a zip lock or pan and freeze it. You save so much time and money.
I am going to have a Private Party on Thursday at 7:00pm. There are 6 spots open, and I would love for you to come. They make appetizers, popcorn & cookies for us to munch on.
Here is how it works...if you sign up to come that night you have to at least purchase and make 18 servings(this can be broken into 6 three serving dinners, or 3 six serving dinners). I made 3 serving dinners because it is just Eric and I. If you do that you will receive a free dinner! You can go to www.dreamdinners.com to see this months menu. Let me know if you want to come because spots are limited. The deadline to sign up is Monday the 12th.

Better late than never!

Well we have been out of town and really busy since Halloween so that's why you are just now seeing these pictures.

What a week!

What do they say...bad things happen in three? I hope not. Two have put me to my stress limit for now. Okay to start off Tuesday night Eric played flag football with all of his friends. Eric is known for getting hurt when he plays! He made it home in one piece and we hit the hay. About 1:30 that night I woke up to Eric laying on the floor in terrible pain. He claimed it was his back muscles and that he was going to take a shower and he would feel better. Well 5 showers later I was driving him to the ER(and not fast enough..as he would say)! So by 9:00 the next morning Eric passed or birthed a 4 mm kidney stone. He keep telling me that he was having twins because it hurt so bad. I am such a bad wife...I couldn't help but giggle a few times that night. What?... I have given birth to a 9 pound baby and made it through 2 Gallstone attacks 3 weeks after giving birth. And finally to end up getting my Gallbladder removed. So we made it through that event.
Next...I got a call this morning about 5 minutes after Eric had left for work. It was one of those calls that you know something is wrong. He had wrecked his new truck! It's not that bad, but I think it always seems worse when it is a new car. I still haven't seen the damage and maybe I don't want to. I am so glad he is okay. It's just a truck that can be fixed, right?
So I guess there are worse things that could happen but emotionally and physically I am spent! I need some R&R, a pedicure, message, new clothes and all those other things that make you feel better in times like this. Anyone up to joining me?( in the activities...not the stress)

Happy Birthday Joe!

It would be my Grandpa's Birthday today. He died last year and we miss him so much. He loved Lucy like she was his own. He had never been around a new baby. He was so interested in her growing and learning. Joe always told me that Lucy was too advanced...that she was growing too fast. I agree! We love you Joe, and there isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of you and miss you.

E-I-E-I-O

Yes...along with all the other 2 million people...tonight we went to the Staheli Farm! We had so much fun with Brian, Marcie and MaKenna. It seems that we don't get together enough anymore. The girls had a blast and loved the animals. The donkey sneezed in Kenna's face so she wasn't too fond of the rest of the petting zoo. Lucy doesn't get to play with any girls because all of you have boys so it is fun to get together. Although I have to admit...MaKenna is the one who taught Lucy to play in the dirt! Well that's all for tonight...until next time.

Cousins

These are some fun pictures of Lucy and her cousins. It is always fun for her(and me) to have them in town. Maybe I am crazy or something but the more kids that are around Lucy the less I have to worry about her. She stays so busy and so happy. Is that the answer...lots of kids?

Esme?!

Okay, so a couple of weeks ago I finished Twilight & New Moon. I started Eclipse and have only gotten through the first couple of chapters. I guess I am savoring the last for the next year or so until "Edward's Perspective" comes out! I ran across this quiz and thought it was fun to play in the fantasy world of Romantic Vampires...

You're Esme Cullen - Your maternal instinct to take care of people and be kind draw people towards you. You're compassionate and loving, yet firm when you need to be. You appreciate hard work and value the beautiful results of your dedication to any project.

Don't leave home without us!

Last Wednesday both Eric and Dusty were out of town so Cari and Tryston came over to play for a while. It was getting late so Lucy borrowed Tryston some PJ's. Cari couldn't resist adding some bows to his hair to top off the transformation. Tryston didn't seem to mind it at all...and Lucy loved having a girl to play with(all she plays with are boys). Sorry Dusty...I guess that will teach our husbands to not leave home without us! Who knows what kind of trouble we can get into.

Girls Weekend!

Last weekend all of my sisters-in-law, mom and I went to Arizona and surprised my sister Shenise. It is so hard to keep a secret from her...and she rarely is surprised! We ate, shopped and ate some more. It was so fun to be together without all the kids and husbands. I was the driver and by the end of the trip we had driven 575 miles in just 4 days. I guess that's what you do when you live in a big city.

Proud as a Peacock!

This morning when Lucy woke up I showed her her Halloween costume that came in the mail yesterday. She put it on right away and I cannot get it off of her. I might have to wait until nap time. I need to find some orange tights, so if anyone has seen some please let me know!

Oh so cute!

This blog is the cutest! I got it from Jen's sister's blog(did you follow that). I check it everyday for new fun stuff for babies and tots. Here is the link http://tutusandturtles.blogspot.com/ Don't be suprised if you see me making some of the stuff or ordering it!

Howdy!

Last week we went to the Rodeo. We go every year and have so much fun. I feel like I spend more than half the time with my eyes closed because I don't like to see people get hurt. Lucy loved it this year...mostly because she could dance with the music and see some animals. Here are some pictures to proove it!
I know it looks a little like a sombrero,
but its the best hat I could find!

The Family!

Up close and personal! All the cousins
Lucy clapping & screaming
What muscles?
New dance move..."Driving the truck!"

Happy Birthday Linds!

Wow 26!!!
I can't believe it, time is going by so fast. Well I didn't want you to think I forgot you on your big day. I hope you have a fun time with your cute family. You are the best example to me as a Mom and Wife. I miss not having you close to us,
but I better get used to it! Until next time...

Ouch!

Last night Lucy had her first run in with the coffee table. I was on the phone discussing "Procreation" with a member of our Bishopric (he is teaching the lesson in Young Women this Sunday) and out of the blue the table jumped out at Lucy. As soon as she lifted her head up I could see the dent in her head. Within seconds the goose egg was huge. Poor girl she has made it through her life up to this point accident free (knock on wood)! I ended up sleeping with her on the couch to make sure she was okay. I woke up around 3:00 and she had rolled off the couch without me knowing...she was still asleep so I just picked her up and feel back to sleep. I don't know if I can handle worrying about more than one child...sorry Mom and Dad!

Lane & Lucy 4th of July Mix

I am in the process of developing all my photos and videos from summer. Here is some footage from 4th of July in Park City!

Here she is herself...Lucy Faye. I cannot get a normal picture of her anymore because she is well aware of what a camera is. She won't sit still because she just wants to look at the picture on the back of the camera!

Yeah! I am so excited to finally catch up to all you bloggers out there. I had no idea there was this whole world of linked blogs. Tommorrow I will download all updated pictures so that it will be more exciting! Until then...
