On this Veteran's Day...

I hold a veteran very close to my heart...My DAD. Upon returning home from their honeymoon, was a letter that would change his life forever. My Dad was drafted to Vietnam. There he left my Mom, his newly wed wife, home while he served our country. He stayed strong and positive as he served and returned home without many of his fellow soldiers. My Dad is a Hero.
We love you Dad.

My sweet daughter, thank you for remembering. As I revisit my Vietnam days the only thought that remained constent in my mind was getting back to your mom in one piece. There were so many young men that didn't make it home to their families. We all must never forget their sacrifice in our behave. God bless America! Love, Dad
