Once upon a time...

...when Lucy was born she was given a gift from her Great Uncle & Aunt, John & Susie. It was a gift card to

There was one little problem...the town that Lucy lived in did not have a Barnes & Noble. So her Mom put it in her wallet to use when they came across a B&N. A couple of {years} later Lucy's Mom realized that the new book store in town was a {Barnes & Noble}! So off they went to the book store to get some new books.

When we arrived Lucy was so very excited to see ALL the books she could pick from. She grabbed a stuffed animal and sat down at the table. Lucy pointed to what book she wanted her Mom to read to her. After a few books Lucy spotted this...

Thomas the Train table! How could books compete with it? They wouldn't! After many books and a few hard decisions, her {Mom} picked some out.
When Lucy and her Mom went to pay for the new books, Lucy saw these down the mall...

Lucy thought it would be pretty cool to be a {Fire Women} until she saw this...

and she realized she could be like her Mom...talk on her phone and drive all at the same time. Just as she crossed her legs to relax...there it was, out the window...

the {Ice Cream Truck}! Lucy had so much fun taking Mom's order. She did not want to leave but it was time to go. After a few tears were shed they were on their way home.

Lucy couldn't wait to open her new books and puzzle. Hopefully after completing her puzzle and reading her books she will repeat her {ABC's & 123's} perfectly!

{The END}

As you can see...back to the {old} toys again.

BOWS!

Before leaving on my Cruise I laid out all of Lucy's clothes with matching undies and bows. Well when I returned I found bows all over the house. Eric wanted to make sure Lucy had a matching bow for her outfit....

{solution}

Put every color on her head and one is sure to match!

Faye's Delights

Every {two} years Aunt Marti takes all the girls on a vacation. I was not able to go last time because I was pregnant. This year we went on a 4 day Cruise to Ensenada. We had a blast! It was non stop {fun} from dancing, eating, laughing, {eating},
"Family Feud", eating...
getting a {tattoo}...in honor of Grandma Faye...
a {purple pansy}
{BINGO} and did I mention eating?
Thank you so much Marti. I had so much fun with everyone, it's like all of Eric's sisters, mom, aunts and cousins are my own!

BAL-LET

Isn't that the perfect picture. Lucy has done this move for the past 2 weeks. Marcie called a couple of months ago and said she was signing Makenna up for dance. Since Makenna is Lucy's only girl friend, we had to do it.

It has been so good for Lucy. She has learned so much, and it gives us something to look forward to.

The girls totally get wrapped up in watching themselves in the mirror. There is usually not a class that goes by without a collision!

It's not about technique, is it?

Lucy knows when class is just about over, so today she headed over to the treat box and danced around it until the music was over...yes she was the first in line!

Cousin's Camp

Every year my Mom & Dad do Cousin's Camp for all the grand kids that are potty trained. So this was Lucy's first official year. After the 4th of July celebrations ended we were packing up to head home and my Mom decided that it would be a good week for Cousin's Camp. So my SILs had 15 minutes to pack each of their 3 children and send them on their way.
They started out the week with swim lesson every morning. Lucy didn't take these because she was too young to do it by herself. Then my parents had to take my Grandma to Vegas for a Dr appointment so I was in charge. I thought that I could take them to lunch and a movie. After putting the "Buddy System" in play we made it through lunch and arrived at the movie theater. Six Luke Skywalkers later{actually 7, due to a spill before the movie even started} and 4 potty breaks we made it home. Did I mention I had 6 kids with me? I didn't get around to taken pictures of the event, sorry.
For FHE we went to the Temple for a quick movie.
Lucy loves her cousin Cade. He watches out for her.
Tuesday we went to the Washington City Pool. The kids had so much fun and they were very tired and water logged.
Wednesday my Mom and I took them up to the Veyo Pool.
I had never been up there before. They caught crawdads and tadpoles, what else could a kid ask for?

Grandma Shirley took us all out to Samurai 21 for dinner.
Nice snugger Lucy!
Thursday was full of Pizza Factory and...
BOWLING!
Lucy was totally 80's with the side pony and scrunched socks!
Friday Lucy and I took the day off. We met up with everyone for Chuck-a-Rama that night and then we helped the kids put together their scrapbooks of the week. The kids all had a blast & my Mom and Dad were so worn out. There was only one drawback...I didn't get a week off without my kid! I might have to leave town next year!

4th of July

The 4th of July was a blast this year. We went to Lehi to continue our tradition. We started our day out early with a neighborhood breakfast that Reggie and Wendy put on. Then we hit the pool for a while before nap time.
Later that evening we went to a huge BBQ in Jason & Kristin's development. They had blow up toys, a big movie screen, shaved ice & food.
After the big party we decorated bikes and watched the fireworks. I love the {4th of July} and I am said it is all over. Until next year...
